2022 Moretti Pinot Noir
"The 2022 Pinot Noir showed nicely, with a charming, forward, nicely balanced style. Ripe red fruits (cherries, raspberries), spice, and floral notes all make an appearance in the glass, and it's medium-bodied, has a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and outstanding length. It's a beautiful effort. The 2022 comes from a mix of sites in the Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley and was all destemmed and aged in 10% new French oak."Jeb Dunnuck, 92JD
Moretti is dedicated to producing small-lot, well-balanced, food-friendly wines in a European tradition - meant to be paired with food. Our background and wine experience comes from the old world, and we strive to produce similarly styled wines using excellent Santa Barbara County grapes. We are lucky enough to have two of the finest winemakers in our AVA, Paul Lato and Steve Clifton, make our Spring and Fall releases, respectively, providing our customers with the chance to taste 'Cru' productions at 'Village' prices.
