Moretti Prosecco, DOCG Valdobbiadene
Moretti is dedicated to producing small-lot, well-balanced, food-friendly wines in a European tradition - meant to be paired with food. Our background and wine experience comes from the old world, and we strive to produce similarly styled wines using excellent Santa Barbara County grapes. We are lucky enough to have two of the best winemakers in our AVA, Paul Lato and Steve Clifton, make our Spring and Fall releases, respectively, providing our customers with the chance to taste 'Cru' productions at 'Village' prices. Just 400 cases produced!
Mama mia - this is the wine you've always wanted! Made from grapes high in the high hills of Valdobbiadene, considered the best growing zone for Prosecco due to low yields, the wine aunleashes a special frangrance of green apple, wisteria and a hint of rose. The mellow and harmonious taste makes it perfect as an aperitif. Remember - this is one of the few DOCG proseccos to be found on the west coast, which is why you'll find it in many of the valley's best restaurants.
